Celebrity Hair Changes of 2020: Haircuts, Hair Color, Extensions

As we close out 2020, we’re taking a look back at some of the most wonderful hair transformations over the year. After all, celebrities are constantly switching things up with fresh cuts, colors and lengths. And we love every second of it!

One of the biggest — and most shocking — trends we saw this year had to be the mullet. Thanks to Miley Cyrus and Barbie Ferreira, multiple celebs seemed to bring back this hairstyle pulled straight from the ’80s. Though we must say, they managed to give it a modern day update that fans obsessed over.

It seems that the mullet was the drastic look of the year as opposed to the unique celeb-loved style of 2019 — the bowl cut, which we saw on Kaia Gerber, Charlize Theron, Timothée Chalamet and more.

Besides the unexpected styles that have made a comeback, A-listers have also paid a visit to the salon chair to commit to less-dramatic styles. For example, in 2020, Riverdale’s Mark Consuelos got a subtle chop that inspired wife Kelly Ripa to call him “daddy” and Naomi Campbell got into vacation mode by getting long, faux locks.
