Chelsea Handler, E!’s resident funnywoman and host of the hit late-night talk show Chelsea Lately is known for her sharp wit and no-holds-barred take on Hollywood’s biggest celebs.

Born in Livingston, N.J. in 1975, the stand-up comedian got her big break as a prankster on the television show Girls Behaving Badly before moving over to the E! network in 2006. The late night host is also a best-selling author, thanks to 2005’s My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands and the hilarious Are You There Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea, released in 2008.

In 2009, she won a Bravo A-List award, and she recently announced she has extended her contract for Chelsea Lately until 2012. Handler appears on the cover of Playboy‘s December 2009 issue.
