Daphne Oz Names Daughter Philomena Bijou Jovanovic
Welcome, baby PBJ! First-time mom Daphne Oz and husband John Jovanovic have named their newborn daughter Philomena Bijou Jovanovic, Dr. Oz's oldest daughter announced on The Chew Tuesday, Mar. 4.
28-year-old Oz appeared via Skype less than one week after giving birth to update her cohosts on motherhood and baby Philomena, whom the couple affectionately has nicknamed "Philo," or "PBJ" for foodies. Oz, who will be on maternity leave until late April, also unveiled the first photo of Philomena with her ABC colleagues on the show.
As previously reported, Oz and her investment fund analyst husband welcomed their daughter in NYC on Wednesday, Feb. 26. First-time granddad Dr. Mehmet Oz gushed over the arrival of the little one last Thursday: "I'm holding my beautiful granddaughter now," he tweeted. "Thank you for all the well-wishes & prayers!"

The name Philomena has most recently become largely associated with real-life mother Philomena Lee, whose story inspired the Oscar-nominated film Philomena. (Judi Dench also received a Best Actress Oscar nod for her performance in the movie.) The child's middle name "Bijou," stands for "jewel" in French.
