Gwyneth Paltrow Lists Chris Martin Monogrammed Underwear on GOOP

Publish date: 2024-06-06

Paltrow’s panties are living in the past! Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle site GOOP posted a variety of underwear to its sales blog on Thursday, Sept. 25. The undergarments come in black, white, and gray, but it’s not the shades receiving the attention. Some of the neutral undies have the initials “gkpm” embroidered on them.

Vulture’s The Cut conjectures that the initials stand for her name Gwyneth Katherine Paltrow Martin, an obvious nod to her ex Chris Martin, 37. A set of three without the monogram will cost a customer $35, while the personalized “gkpm” package will set someone back $75.

The Oscar winner, 41, has remained amicable with Martin since announcing their “conscious uncoupling” in March. As previously reported, Gwyneth even approves of the Coldplay frontman’s new relationship with 24-year-old Jennifer Lawrence. In a new interview, Paltrow reflects on her life, the exes’ children Apple, 10, and Moses, 8, and her career.

“Some days I just think I am failing everywhere,” Paltrow told Viva magazine for its October issue. “Like today I was making lunch and saying to myself ‘this lunch is so bad’ throwing pasta in the lunch bag, yelling ‘get in the car.’ I was losing my cool.”

“I think it’s very hard to try to find the right balance and I think we all aspire to that balance, but it’s easier said than done,” she continued. “It’s just a matter of trying your best each day and not being too hard on yourself about things.”

Paltrow received a considerable amount of backlash in April when she said it’s harder to raise children as an actress. She defended her comments the following month noting that she wanted to end the “mommy wars.”

“I think when you are a working mother it is always very difficult, in fact it’s difficult if you are a mother anyway even if you are not working. It’s the demand, the responsibility and the love – it’s a lot and trying to balance a career with it makes it hard,” Paltrow told Viva. “I have a lot of respect for women who try to do both things, because I really struggle.”
