Jamie-Lynn Sigler's Brother Adam Dies After Brain Hemorrhage

Jamie-Lynn Sigler and her family are in mourning. The star's older brother, Adam Sigler, died on Wednesday, Nov. 12, after suffering a brain hemorrhage. Sources close to the actress tells Us Weekly that Adam was in a coma and with his family before he passed away.

"Adam was always so happy and inspired Jamie to be a better person every day," one insider tells Us. "She loved him dearly and will miss him more than anyone can ever imagine. The family was with him every second he was in a coma and was surrounded by his entire family when he passed."

Sigler, 33, changed her Facebook profile picture to one with her oldest sibling on Tuesday, Nov. 11, while he remained in a coma. Immediately, friends of the Sopranos star commented on the photo, sending well-wishes to the Sigler family during the trying time.

In the photo, Sigler beams beside her big brother, who bears a striking resemblance to the actress. Adam, who was a stockbroker, was the oldest of the three Sigler children including middle child Brian.

"My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Jamie," one commenter wrote. Another friend added: "Holding you and your family close to my heart. Adam will always be a part of you."

A second insider tells Us that the hemorrhage came out of nowhere, and there were no previous signs of a predisposed health condition.

"He was engaged," the same insider says of his love Danielle Piro. "He was such a funny, amazing man. He was an incredible uncle who was loved by all his friends and family. He will be greatly missed."
