The Originals actor Joseph Morgan and his fiancee, Persia White, tied the knot in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, on Saturday, July 5, his rep confirms to Us Weekly.

"Happiest day of my life," he tweeted on July 23, in reference to the couple's intimate nuptials.

Morgan, 33, and the actress-musician, 41, first met on set of The Vampire Diaries in season 3. They announced their engagement in May. "We really appreciate those of you who have supported our wild, creative, passionate and unlikely relationship," the pair told Us in a statement at the time. "We have found a rare and precious thing; true love. We wish you all the same."

The British actor briefly spoke about his relationship with White during an interview with HuffPost Live in September. "You know, I'm very happy," Morgan said. "It's great."
