Naked Twister Mom Sentenced to Probation
A mom who allowed her 16-year-old daughter and friends to drink alcohol, smoke marijuana and play naked Twister in their Evans, Georgia, home in 2015 will not serve time in jail.
According to WJBF, Rachel Lehnardt, 36, was sentenced to six years probation and $600 in fines. The mother of five was sentenced under the First Offender Act and must comply with mandatory drug and alcohol testing and treatment, WJBF reported.
In April 2015, Lehnardt received a text from her daughter asking if she could brings friends over “to party,” the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office said in a report, printed by the New York Daily News. The former Mormon Sunday school teacher replied, “Come on, let’s party.”
Lehnardt is a recovering alcoholic who confessed what happened to her sponsor. The sponsor then reported what she said to authorities.
The evening of the party, Lehnardt allegedly provided weed and liquor for the minors before stripping off her clothes and joining in a game of naked Twister. At one point, she slipped into the bathroom and proceeded to have sex with an 18-year-old guest, and then claimed she was still “horny” and pleasured herself with sex toys in the living room as the group watched on, per the police report obtained by the New York Daily News. The report also stated Lehnardt passed out in her bed, and woke to find her daughter’s 16-year-old boyfriend having sex with her.
The sponsor told deputies that Lehnardt has “stated in the [AA] group that she is a sexual deviant and addicted to pornography.”
Lehnardt lost custody of her children — who were then ages 4, 6, 8, 10 and 16 — on April 6, 2015, as a result of the party.

Her attorney Shawn Hammond called the allegations “exaggerated” in a statement to Augusta Crime in April 2015. “She is extremely remorseful for what she allowed to occur in her presence and is obtaining professional and pastoral counseling to ensure this conduct is never repeated,” Hammond said. “Mrs. Lehnardt has recommitted herself to her faith and her family. She is hopeful that her children, members of her faith and others will learn from her poor example as to just how easy it is for people to exercise such extremely poor judgment while intoxicated.”
