Patrick Dempsey Shirtless Beach Pictures: Grey's Anatomy Star Vacations in Caribbean

Eight years after he first earned the nickname McDreamy on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, Patrick Dempsey still lives up to the silly moniker — and then some. Exhibit A? The 47-year-old actor’s shirtless appearance at the beach with wife Jillian Fink on Tuesday, May 14.

Dempsey, who just wrapped his ninth season as Dr. Derek Shepherd on ABC’s hit medical drama, seemed to be in a great mood as he frolicked in the ocean with Fink during a recent family vacation to the Caribbean. (Also along for the trip: the couple’s kids, daughter Tallulah, 11, and twins Sullivan and Darby, 6.)

Sporting only a pair of green and black swim trunks, sunglasses, and a smile, the star showed off his impressively fit physique. Fink flaunted her enviable bod as well, in a maroon bikini with white trim. Both spent a lot of time in the water, laughing and playing with their kids.

In one picture from the fun-filled afternoon, the hunky actor is seen jumping around with his son — in blue and orange swim trunks — as waves crash around their knees.

At another point during the day, Dempsey got a little cheeky with his wife of nearly 14 years. Walking next to her in the surf, he grinned and placed his hand on her derriere as she fiddled with the strings on her bikini.

Speaking about his wife of nearly 14 years in a 2011 interview with Good Housekeeping, the twice-wed actor said the best part of being married was “feeling centered.” “Nothing else matters so much as long as you can home and be with your family,” he explained. That said, both he and Fink value individual time.

“She’ll do things on her own so she can come back and be much more patiient with the kids,” he said. “I go car racing.”
