Sarah Jessica Parker on Plastic Surgery: I'd "Look Like a Lunatic"

Sarah Jessica Parker knows she's getting — and looking — older.

But the 45-year-old actress and mom says she's helpless against the march of time. "I don't know what I can do about aging," Parker says in the December issue of Elle, on stands Dec. 15.

"Yes, I am aging," she admits. "Oh my God, I'm aging all the time. It's like those flowers that wilt in front of you in time-lapse films."

But the woman most famous for her role as Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City suggests she won't go the route of cosmetic surgery like other Hollywood stars: "But what can I possibly do? Look like a lunatic?"

Married to actor Matthew Broderick for 13 years, Parker also opens up to Elle about Marion and Tabitha, the twin girls they welcomed via surrogate in June 2009.

"[Meeting them] is hard to describe," she admitted of the little girls, who joined big brother James Wilkie, now 8. "I loved them immediately, but everything–their size, the shape of their heads, the color of their hair, their noses, their eyes–was new to me. They looked surprisingly different from James Wilkie, which I wasn't expecting."

The fashionable star — now also the President and Chief Creative Officer at Halston and Halston Heritage — dished on little girl Tabitha's style. "She's crazy for bows; she wants her head covered in them!"
