Sean Bean Arrested for Harassing Ex-Wife Georgina Sutcliffe
Sean Bean — who plays Lord of Winterfell Eddard Stark on HBO’s Game of Thrones — was arrested Tuesday for reportedly harassing his ex-wife, Georgina Sutcliffe, according to The Daily Mail.
The actor, 53, was taken into the Holborn police station in central London on “suspicion of harassment” and was later released on bail. Bean reportedly made harassing phone calls and sent abusive text messages to his former spouse.
Sutcliffe, 34, was Bean’s fourth wife. She is currently performing in The Mousetrap in the West End.

The actors met in 2003 while Sutcliffe was managing a bar in a London theater where Bean was playing Macbeth. They split in 2010 after two years of marriage, during which Bean was arrested on suspicion of assaulting Sutcliffe. The actress later said “everything was blown out of proportion,” and Bean was released; police took no further action.
In addition to Game of Thrones, Bean is known for his roles in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Goldeneye, Mirror Mirror and Henry VIII. His previous wives include Debra James (1981-1988), Melanie Hill (1990-1997) and Abigail Cruttenden (1997-2000).
