Tori Spellings Son Turns 1 Day After Police Called to Home
Tori Spelling’s son Beau celebrated his first birthday on Friday, March 2, the day after police were called to the family’s home over a verbal dispute.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 44, shares five children with her husband, Dean McDermott: Liam, 10, Stella, 9, Hattie, 6, Finn, 5, and Beau. Is is unclear how they plan to celebrate the baby’s big day.
As previously reported, the Los Angeles Police Department told Us Weekly that its deputies were dispatched to Spelling and McDermott’s home in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles early Thursday, March 1. “The investigation revealed that it was a domestic incident in which there was no crime, no arrest and no transport,” a PIO told Us.

TMZ reported that the Chopped Canada host, 51, called 911 after his wife of 11 years allegedly became “aggressive.” A source later told Us, “At this point, Tori won’t be transported to the hospital. There are no discussions about placing Tori on any type of psychiatric hold, and she is no danger to herself or others.”
Spelling and McDermott’s marriage was on the rocks in 2013 after Us exclusively revealed that he had a two-day affair with a woman named Emily Goodhand. The couple eventually reconciled and became stronger after the birth of their fifth child.
“Beau was, like, the rebirth of our relationship,” the True Tori alum said at the A Time for Heroes Festival in October. “We know how to do it differently now. For so many years, we kind of didn’t know how to find time for ourselves. … Our time together is as important as our time with our children.”
